It was a short 3 day week, but filled with great holiday cheer! We began our week by learning about the Christmas story with our black light theatre. We talked about the traditions of this holiday which is celebrated in many countries around the world.
To commemorate the time we have been at this campus we each wrote about our best memory and our wish for our new campus and put them in our school wide pensieve jar.
We read the story, Gingerbread Baby, and then decided to use our infinite creativity to illustrate the gingerbread man. We also made a “yummy marshmallow” snowman, in the words of Michael (Magnolia). We especially enjoyed eating it slowly during our read-aloud time…
A special thank you to our wonderful PTA moms for organizing such a fun filled holiday carousal!
We wish everyone a holiday season full of love, peace, and celebration!
