Celebrate Peace!

Welcome to our eventful week! We started our week¬† analyzing the lyrics of our theme song for the unit “Never going to let you down” by Colbie Caillat… using a couple of phrases as our mantra “I’m never going to let you down, I’m always going to build you up”, what a great way to start our week!

This week we talked with our learning buddies about freedom, and we learned about Mexican Independence from Ms. Cecilia and Ms. Jessica!

Discussing different strategies in Math to solve our word problems is helping us to develop our skills!

We love our Yoga class! Helping our physical, emotional and intellectual well-being is a great way to start our week!

Our transdisciplinary unit, Who We Are, is allowing us to explore the different aspects of our being! Discussing and learning different ways to maintain our well-being  will prepare us better for our upcoming adolescence stage!

Measuring three dimensional shapes is helping us to better understand the concept of volume…

We celebrated the international day for Peace! As citizens of the world it is important to take the time to celebrate and acknowledge what is our responsibility to create an environment of Peace in our community and in our world!

The recipe for our book of Healthy choices this week was Guacamole… we loved it!


We have started a beautiful Peace project in collaboration with our Grade 2 learning buddies… stay tuned!
