Early Childhood & PYP After School Activities

After school activities started for all students this past Tuesday. New to this school year, we have added activities open to early childhood students. They are learning to dance, cook, kick in Tae Kwon Do, and draw language thoughtfully in calligraphy.

Romance of Three Kingdoms (三顾茅庐)

本单元的中文课上,我和学生们一起探讨了“什么是戏剧”以及“戏剧的基本形式”。同时,学生们利用四天的时间准备了课本剧《三顾茅庐》并在单元分享会上向老师、家长及其他同学进行表演。课前,学生们了解了大量有关三国时期的历史故事及人物特点,因此他们轻松地记住了文言台词并能够深入体会人物角色的特点以至于在课本剧表演中自然投入地扮演了各自的角色,赢得了家长和老师们的一致好评!
